TERMS OF SERVICE — The New Years Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking an appointment through Jane App, or receiving services from The New Years, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

2. Scope of Services

We provide pediatric therapy, developmental, lactation, and wellness services delivered by regulated health professionals licensed in Ontario.

Information provided on our website is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for individualized medical or therapeutic advice.

3. Not for Emergencies

Our services and website are not intended for use in emergencies.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital.

4. Booking, Cancellation, and Payment

  • Appointments are booked through Jane App.

  • Cancellation notice must follow our clinic’s cancellation policy.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees.

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

  • We provide receipts for insurance reimbursement; we do not bill insurers directly.

5. Electronic Communication Consent

By contacting us via email, text, or Jane messaging, you acknowledge the inherent risks of electronic communication and consent to its use for appointment and care coordination.

Electronic communication (including email, text messaging, or Jane App messaging) is provided for convenience only. By contacting the Clinic electronically, you acknowledge:

  • Electronic communication is not appropriate for emergencies

  • Security cannot be guaranteed

  • The Clinic may reply using the same email thread unless you instruct otherwise

  • No clinical advice, assessment, or diagnosis will be provided by email

A formal appointment is required for any treatment recommendations.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, images, and written materials are the property of The New Years.
 No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.
 We do not endorse or assume responsibility for external content or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law:
 The New Years, its clinicians, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Website use

  • Service outcomes

  • Technical issues

  • Actions taken based on website information

Clinical care is provided in accordance with professional regulatory standards.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

All disputes shall be heard exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
