How Pediatric Occupational Therapy Helps

Our pediatric occupational therapists (OTs) work with children to develop the foundational skills needed for movement, play, feeding, and daily routines.

Intervention is child-led, play-based, and individualized to your child’s unique needs, strengths, and pace.

Approaches are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and guided by your family’s rhythms and routines.

What to Expect at The New Years:

    Our Collaborative, Family-Centered Approach

    1. The journey starts with an evaluation to understand your child’s and family’s strengths and needs.
    2. From there, we schedule a follow-up post-evaluation meeting to discuss the evaluation results and recommendations. We will create an individualized plan that integrates play-based, child-led therapy, parent education, and home strategies to promote meaningful progress between visits.
    3. We work closely with identified caregivers and other necessary healthcare providers to ensure your child’s progress feels supported in their daily context.

    Let’s begin together.
